Balikesir Biogas Power Plant which will start production in 2021 within the scope of YEKDEM will have installed capacity of 3,285 MWm / 3,201 MWe. 189.800 tons of cattle and hen fertilizer will be fermented a year in the facility and 24.007,50 MWe/year of electricity will be produced. The main source of raw material to be used in the process will be animal wastes including those of cattle and hens to be procured from the region farms. The annual organic solid fertilizer production capacity of the facility is 30.000 tons/year, and its liquid fertilizer production capacity is 115.000 tons/year.
